THEATRES AND CINEMAS IN OLD PLYMOUTH
The Lyceum Theatre in Westwell Street, Plymouth was run by Messrs Walker and Poole.
Admission prices at one time were quite expensive, at 3 shillings for the stalls and 2 shillings for what were called "central seats". Operas, vaudeville and other forms of entertainment were presented here.
Exactly when the Lyceum Theatre closed is not known but the site, if not the actual premises, later became the Princess Hall, the Plymouth Mechanic's Institute and the Repertory Theatre.
