EDUCATION IN OLD  PLYMOUTH

SAINT BONIFACE ROMAN CATHOLIC SCHOOL FOR GIRLS AND INFANTS

The Saint Boniface Roman Catholic School for Girls and Infants was located in Anstis Street, Plymouth, adjacent to the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saint Mary and Saint Boniface and the Roman Catholic Convent of the Sisters of Notre Dame.

It was built in 1862 and could accommodate 277 girls and 154 infants.  The School was run by the Sisters of Notre Dame.

In 1914 the average attendance was 211 girls and 157 infants.
