ROADS AND STREETS IN OLD PLYMOUTH - A-Z INDEX

LOWER BROAD STREET

Lower Broad Street was, in both 1765 and 1820, a continuation of Butchers' Lane from the junction with Norley Lane, to the north, and Higher Broad Street, to the south, eastwards as far as Martyn's Gate.  Outside of Martyn's Gate the highway became Bittons Side (1765) or Briton Side (1820).

Both Butchers' Lane and Lower Broad Street became parts of Treville Street.
