HONICKNOWLE UNITED METHODIST FREE CHAPEL

The Honicknowle United Methodist Free Chapel.
From a postcard.

The Honicknowle United Methodist Free Chapel was located in Butt Park Road, Honicknowle, Plymouth, adjacent to Warwick Park House.

It is believed it was opened in April 1901 by the Bible Christian movement.  The United Methodist Free Church was created by the United Methodist Church Act of July 26th 1907.  This lasted until 1932.

The Chapel was closed circa in the early 1990s and the site acquired by the Warwick Park Nursing Home, who have saved the Second World War Memorial and affixed to an outside wall of their building.
